How to Get Your Fingerprints

Lightly press your finger onto an ink pad.
Press your finger straight down onto a clean white piece of paper with normal pressure. Avoid rolling your finger, as this can distort the fingerprint.
Without re-inking your finger, press it onto the paper 1-2 more times, leaving a little space between each print. The second impression is often the clearest, and we'll choose the best fingerprint to edit for your engraving.
Take a clear, well-lit photo of the paper from directly above.
Upload the photo with your order.

Helpful Tips

Use a dark ink on white paper for the best results.
Make sure each fingerprint is clear and in focus.
Avoid blurry photos, shadows, or glare.
If we have any trouble using your fingerprint, we'll reach out before creating your locket.

How to order:

Select your metal, chain type, and chain length.
Upload a clear photo of the fingerprint you'd like engraved.
Let us know what you'd like engraved on the rest of the locket (names, dates, initials, or a message) and which font you'd like, if applicable.
Upload your photos for the inside of the locket, if applicable. We'll reach out if there are any issues with your uploads.

What you’ll need: sewing measuring tape (or string and tape measure)

Instructions:

Stand in front of a mirror. Wrap the measuring tape around you like a necklace with one end to the front of you.
Use the end to move up and down the long side of the measuring tape to figure out where you would like your necklace to lay on you.
Figure out if you need an additional chain extender for layering.
